The Apothecary takes the health of our clients, employees, and community seriously. Before your visit, please take a moment to read our spa procedures in the era of COVID-19.
In accordance with the State Executive Order we require that anyone entering the Apothecary wear a face covering. The mask can be removed during facials, face waxing, and during massage. All staff members will be wearing face masks. During the services in which client face coverings are removed, service providers will also be wearing a face shield. A sneeze guard has also been installed at the reception desk. If you arrive without a face covering, we will have some available for a small fee.
Upon arrival on your first visit you will be required to fill out this consent form:
I understand that close contact with people increases the risk of infection from COVID-19. By signing this form, I acknowledge that I am aware of the risks involved and give consent to receive services at the Apothecary.
I understand that my name and contact information might be shared with the state health department in the event that a client or practitioner at this facility tests positive for COVID-10. My contact details will only be shared in the event they are relevant based on suspected exposure date, and only for appropriate follow-up by the health department.

- Fever of 100.4 or greater, or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache (out of the ordinary)
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose (unrelated to allergies)

If you said yes to any of these symptoms we will ask that you reschedule your appointment. Clients will not be charged a cancellation fee.
If you need to cancel your appointment prior to your appointment time due to sickness, you will not be charged a cancellation fee. In addition, our staff is asked to stay home if they are not feeling well. Your patience is appreciated in the event that your appointment needs to be cancelled due to an employee illness.
Due to staff allergies we do not allow pets, with the exception of a service dog. Also, we have a strict Fragrance Policy. The wearing of synthetic fragrances (perfumes) is not permitted at the Apothecary. Keep in mind that hair products containing synthetic fragrances should also be avoided.
