The Apothecary takes the health of our clients, employees, and community seriously.  Before your visit, please take a moment to read our spa procedures in the era of COVID-19.

In accordance with the State Executive Order we require that anyone entering the Apothecary wear a face covering.  The mask can be removed during facial and face waxing.  All staff members will be wearing face masks.  During the services in which client face coverings are removed, service providers will also be wearing a face shield.

We have added 15 minutes onto every appointment so that our staff can disinfect every touch point between clients.  Due to the logistics of scheduling clients with more time in between appointments, only facials and Brazilian waxes can be scheduled online.  For all other appointments, and scheduling multiple appointments in one visit, request an appointment online or call/text us at 734-604-5971.
Estheticians wash their hands with soap and water for 20 seconds before and after every client, and all staff members practice good hygiene throughout the day.  Surfaces, containers, and touch points are cleaned with an EPA approved disinfectant after every client.
Pre-service consultations will take place 6 feet away.  There will also be time to ask questions and ask for product recommendations at the end of your service.  We ask that conversation during those services where client masks are removed be kept to a minimum to reduce the viral load.
Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. From your car text 734-604-5971. Your Esthetician will reply to let you know that the lobby is clear for check in.

Upon entering we will require that your temperature be taken and ask if you have you had any of the following symptoms in the last 2-14 days:

  • Fever of 100.4 or greater, or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache (out of the ordinary)
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose (unrelated to allergies)
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

If you said yes to any of these symptoms we will ask that you reschedule your appointment.  Clients will not be charged a cancellation fee.

If you need to cancel your appointment prior to your appointment time due to sickness, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.  In addition, our staff is asked to stay home if they are not feeling well.  Your patience is appreciated in the event that your appointment needs to be cancelled due to an employee illness.

We have suspended some of our normal hospitality practices. We are no longer offering self serve beverage service. Hand shakes and hugs are also suspended but we will be smiling at you from behind our mask!

Due to staff allergies we do not allow pets, with the exception of a service dog. Also, we have a strict Fragrance Policy. The wearing of synthetic fragrances (perfumes) is not permitted at the Apothecary. Keep in mind that hair products containing synthetic fragrances should also be avoided.

We are open by appointment for services only. If you wish to purchase products or gift cards but don’t have any appointment, you can call us at 734-604-5971 and pay over the phone, utilizing curbside pickup or requesting products to be shipped. You can also shop online at https://jessicasapothecary.com/shop. Once your order is ready for pickup you will receive curbside pickup hours and instructions. If you don’t know which products are best for your skin you can request a complimentary virtual skin consultation here: https://jessicasapothecary.com/virtual-skin-care-consultations.

Other than a caregiver, please refrain from bringing anyone with you to your appointment.  Guests will be asked to wait in their car or outside.
